Hi there!  I am a guest designer for Scrapping for Less for the month of November card kit.  How cool is that?!  I am super excited to be a part of a wonderful group of crafters for this month’s card kit!  The card kit, The Double Dip Sundae, is 4 collections with each collection containing stamps, embellishments, 6×6 paper and more!  There is also a bonus collection called The Banana Split which includes some fabulous items.  Each collection is wonderfully coordinated and some of the collections even include exclusive Scrapping for Less stamps.  But that’s not all! You also receive eight sheets of 8 1/2 x 11  paper and four envelopes.  There is so much included that you can easily create more than 10 cards.

After you check out the cards that I created below, hop on over to TERESA’S blog.

You can also head on over to my YouTube channel to check out the Process Video  for the cards below.

Thank you for stopping by!  xxjen

Collection #1

Collection #1 includes Twinkle Glints 6×6 paper by DCWV, an exclusive SFL stamp “What if I Fly”, black tie ephemera by Bo Bunny, teal butterflies by Petal and sequins by buttons galore.

I used sketch #3 for the first card.  I am in love with this paper!  It’s gorgeous!  For this card, I trimmed all of my paper pieces and used dies from my stash.  I distressed the butterflies using distress ink and a finger dauber.  You’ll notice that I did not choose to put a sentiment on this card.  At times, I like to leave sentiments off of cards so that I have the option to use that card for different occasions.

The second card was created using the leftover cut outs from the previous card.  I also used the sentiment from the stamp set and the flower ephemera.

I also created a bonus card using the items from this collection using the Bo Bunny ephemera and a sentiment from the stamp set.

Collection #2

Collection #2 includes 6×6 rustic elegance by SFL, an exclusive SFL stamp “Bloom”, 3 wooden doilies, tags by Prima and sequins by buttons galore.

The sketch that I used for the first card was sketch #1.  I love everything about the two cards that I created from this collection!  I especially love the wood grain papers and the wooden doilies.  I used a piece of the ribbon to trim out the transition between papers and placed several Liquid Pearl drops.  I heat embossed the sentiment in white and then stamped the rose stamp and heat embossed with pearl.  One of my favorites!

For the second card, I made a shaker and used more of the wood grain paper, the wooden doilie and the sentiment from one of the tags in the kit.

Collection #3

Collection #3 includes trendy Fashionista 6×6 paper by Echo Park, a Gorjuss “Sugar and Spice” stamp by Santoro London, Fashionista ephemera, pink roll of bling and sequins by buttons galore.

I used sketch #2 (the second card in the picture). Although I did not use the stamp from the collection this time (and instead used the trading card that came with the stamp set) I will definitely make use of it on future projects.  This was a really quick card to put together and I added in some white flowers from my stash.

The second card was created by cutting strips of the Fashionista pattern paper and then putting those strips back together on the card leaving a little bit of space in between.  I then took the ephemera piece and cut it apart so that the sentiment and the lipstick were two separate pieces.  I then matted the sentiment on black cardstock and gave the lipstick a glossy look with glossy accents.

Collection #4

Collection #4 includes an exclusive SFL stamp “Dapper Man”, Dapper Man 6×6 paper, metal arrows by Tim Holtz, enamel dots by Echo Park and sequins by Buttons Galore.

For the first card I used sketch# 4.  This was a really nice collection to work with!  It was a nice change of pace to create a masculine card…I can’t even remember the last time that I created a masculine card!  Probably Father’s Day?!  Hmmm…..

I used the stamps in the collection and colored those with my brush markers.  To give a little more dimension I also used the stamps on the background and white embossed those.  To finish the card off I used a few of the enamel dots and the metal arrow.

For the second card I heat embossed the tie in gold and created a shaker using the sequins from the collection.  I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set using Versafine Black Onyx.
