Hello & Happy Day! Today I will be sharing cards designed using the Scrapping for Less Flavor of the Month kit for March 2019. I am honored to be guest designing this month using this fabulous kit! This kit marks the two-year anniversary of Flavor of the Month kits and to celebrate that milestone, the theme for the month is “Let’s Celebrate!”.
I cannot believe it has been 2 years since Scrapping for Less unveiled the first Flavor of the Month Card Kit. From selling 10 kits that first month; 5 of those being subscriptions to hundreds each month only 2 years later; I feel truly blessed to be able to bring this program to you each month. But not only that, I feel truly blessed to call each and every one of my customers part of the SFL family. So, this month we bring you a whole kit of Celebrations, Ice Cream Celebrations, Baby Celebrations, Birthday Celebrations, and Friendship Celebrations. Thanks so very much for all of your support. Hop along and see the inspiration the Design Team and Guest Designers have for you today. Head to Scrapping for Less Flavor of the Month page to purchase your kit. And if you happened upon this blog or paragraph make sure you go back to the Scrapping for Less blog to enter in the Rafflecopter for a chance to win a prize!

This kit is packed full of everything Celebrations! An awesome kit to go along with an awesome milestone for Scrapping for Less. I’m very honored to be guest designing this month!
I went a little crazy and created 12 cards using the contents of the kit…and guess what? I didn’t even use all of the supplies that were included. Know what that means? Yep! that’s right that means that I can keep on doing what I love and create more! 🙂
Collection #1 Ice Cream Celebrations
This collection included some very pretty patterned paper along with stamps, stickers, tags and sequins. I created two cards using this collection. For the card on the right, I used Sketch #008 along with the pink striped paper and the sentiment from the SFL stamp set included. The card on the left was created using this fun SFL patterned paper along with the ice cream sundae stamp included. Yum!
Collection #2 Happy Birthday!
I loved this collection of patterned papers! The gold foil paper by Carta Bella was absolutely gorgeous and so quick to create some elegant, simple cards.
….and here’s some MORE cards created using just this one collection! You can never have too many Birthday Cards! For the card on the left I used the sketch by Cardz TV. For the shaker card on the right, I used the balloons and sentiment from the Sunny Studios stamp set along with a thin strip of patterned paper and the party hat ephemera.
Collection #3 Baby
Who doesn’t love celebrating a new baby? They are just adorable and so is this collection! I’m in love with the sequins in this set…they are so sparkly!
I created three cards with this collection. The baby boy card using the adorable Sweet Baby Paper by Your Next Stamp and stickers from American Crafts. The baby girl card followed along with Sketch #209 using the paper and stickers as I did with the boy card. A little pattering of those beautiful sequins and the cards are complete!
I loved the simplicity of the third card with this collection. I struggle with coloring (although I’m trying to improve!) and so I decided to keep it simple using the images from the Your Next Stamp set heat embossed in white against the kraft paper included. More sparkly sequins complete this card.
Collection #4 Friendship
Another great collection and although I only created one card with this set, I look forward to using the Stamping Bella stamp set in the near future! I followed Sketch# 229 for this card using the beautiful Pinkfresh Studio pattern paper.
When you order the Banana Split you get EVERYTHING that is included in all four collections plus for this month’s Split you get a Hooray die, SFL sentiment stamps, paper borders and Nuvo Morning Dew drops by Tonic.
I created one card with the Banana Split using the Hooray die. I recently purchased some of the Distress Oxide sprays and decided to play around with them on this card. This was an 8 on messy side but a 10 on the fun side!
